Activities

1. The first international conference and exhibition for the chemical and petrochemical industries, which was held in Beirut/Lebanon in January 2001 under the patronage of the Lebanese Prime Minister. More than 500 Arab, regional and international companies attended the conference.
2. The Second International Conference on Chemical and Petrochemical Industries, which was held in Amman/Jordan in 2005 under the patronage of the Jordanian Prime Minister. More than 500 Arab companies and institutions attended the conference.
3. The First Arab Forum for Chemical and Petrochemical Industries, which was held in Damascus/Syria in 2008 under the patronage of the Syrian Prime Minister, and was attended by more than 300 Arab companies and institutions.
4. The workshop on Arab industrial integration in the field of petrochemical and fertilizer industries, which was held in Amman/Jordan in 2014 under the auspices of the Jordanian Prime Minister and the Secretary-General of the Council of Economic Unity/Arab League.
5. A symposium on the decline in oil prices and their effects on the chemical and petrochemical industries in Amman/Jordan 2016, sponsored by the Secretary-General of the Council of Economic Unity/the Arab League, in which a large number of experts and specialists in oil and industry affairs participated.
6. The virtual scientific workshop (After Corona - Science and Practice), December 15-16, 2020.
7. The Second Arab Forum (The reality and prospects of the oil and gas industry, and the chemical and petrochemical industries and their impact on the economies of the Arab world), which was held on 11/21/2019 - Amman - The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the patronage of the Jordanian Prime Minister and under the supervision of the Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity.
8. The fourth conference, November 28-29, 2021, entitled Investment in Arab cities and industrial areas in Damascus - the Syrian Arab Republic.
9. The Third Arab Forum (Basic Challenges of the Global Energy Crisis) 11/24/2022 in Amman - The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the patronage of the Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.
10. Attending and representing the Union in regional and international forums, holding dozens of seminars and technical seminars, training courses, seminars and specialized forums, and contributing to many activities and conferences.
11. The Union established the Arab University for Science and Technology, an academic university specializing in engineering sciences, chemical and petrochemical industries, and computer sciences in Hama Governorate in Syria.
