1- Arab advancement of the chemical and petrochemical sector and its supporting industries and services in the region and the move towards global competition by achieving Arab industrial integration and the sustainable development and growth of this industry to be an effective part in regional and international economic development and contribute to achieving Arab economic integration.
2- Providing services to members through coordination and integration in the field of providing inputs and facilitating and promoting outputs.
3- Activating commercial relations and coordinating industrial, administrative and technical relations between corresponding Arab and international projects in the field of chemical and petrochemical industries in production, manufacturing and marketing.
4- Work to remove the obstacles that prevent the implementation of paragraphs (2) and (3).
5- Determine the foundations and features of Qatari and Arab specialization of industries and work to develop the facilities of existing companies with the aim of optimally exploiting their maximum production capacities by reducing production costs and raising their rates.
6- Providing advanced and modern technology in the field of chemical and petrochemical industries to members through exchanging experience and knowledge with specialized international companies for the purpose of developing and modernizing these industries.
7- Developing human resources working on sound economic foundations.
8- Working to determine the priorities of the chemical and petrochemical industries in the countries of the Arab world according to the needs of the Arab and international markets, and exporting the surplus through trade and economic exchange and coordination to create common interests in the field of chemical and petrochemical industries, with the huge potential they provide for Arab, regional and international industrial and economic development.
9- Constructive communication between specialized Arab federations, organizations, federations, corresponding international institutions and parties of common interest by creating a platform for exchanging information, experiences and intellectual leadership initiatives, deepening aspects of cooperation between them and strengthening relations.
10- Encouraging and developing scientific research and innovation, supporting research, design and consulting institutions in the field of chemical and petrochemical industries and sponsoring patents.
11- Protecting the Arab environment from the dangers of environmental pollution by educating the general public and spreading a sense of responsible care.
12- Conducting activities, workshops, seminars and conferences in support of those concerned with industry affairs on a regular basis.
13- Finding innovative solutions to confront the societal and industrial challenges and problems that the region has reached due to the wars, destruction, and environmental and industrial decline it has gone through.
